:sniffles: I feel so bad for Martha after reading this.

Thanks for writing.

I'm so happy I wasn't alone in thinking Martha was reminded of the blonde her father is with when she learns of Rose. I saw it in her reaction straight away and I'm so glad you wrote a story depicting that as well as a wonderful introspective relating to issues I never thought of.

Which is always good. :)

I really loved how you included Jack as well. So many people focus on The Doctor's love for Rose and Rose's love for The Doctor they often forget about how Jack loved her as well. Which is a pity, because it's such an interesting view-point.

You stayed true to Martha's character, managed to keep from any Rose-bashing or over-adoring Martha out of it and therefore kept my interest. I really loved the line; "The Doctor is less the smarting divorcé than the grieving widower". Not sure why, but I think it really showed the turn-point in Martha's feelings for him. How her respect for the "Other Woman" changed, and thus her views of him.

It was really quite clever. :)

I have to say, I am completly addicted to your fics now.

And I utterly loved this - i could completly see Martha going through all those feelings. You captured them perfectly.

Absolutley beautiful. Brought back all the emotions that I struggled to stifle after Rose/Billie left the show, and did so with grace and elegance. (And no, I am not just pulling words out of thin air, here. I really do mean them.) Fantastic job. I absolutely adore/love/worship this.

Seems very nice to think about - fits a reasonable way of looking at the Doctor and Jack too.

That has honestly got to be one of the best things I've read in quite some time. Some amazing insight you've got there. It's nice to know that i wasn't the only one who kept pausing and squenting to see what in the world the Doctor had written around the picture of Rose in his journal. Utopia was a fantastic episode, though i must admit, I could completely desipher Martha's reactions during Jack and the Doctors conversation near the end.So it's a good thing i've managed to read someone elses! really and truley lovely, totally favourited of course!

very nice, very well written, fantabulous!
I reckon this is exactly what Martha would be feeling, adn you've got her right in character, you haven't made her too over the top with hating Rose or anything (which other fics have done...)
Brilliant!

Lovely, beautiful, and sweet. I really felt bad for Martha during this episode, what with the Doctor and Jack's reunion and kind of being shunted aside a little.

Wonderful story and train-of-thought. Good work!

Brilliant introspection! I think you've captured Martha perfectly and her thoughts on Rose and then the Doctor and Jack't feelinga for her were great to read! I like the fact that we also see a change in Martha in her opinion of Rose, it's nice to see that she can finally understand what happened to Rose! Great job!

I think this is terrific... Granted, I've seen none of season three yet, but I like your sympathetic take on Martha and your respect for Rose.
