Hunchback of Notre Dame has always been my favorite disney movie, and I like how you entertwined it with Calypso/Davy. I never would have seen the connenction between HoND and that pairing to make a oneshot.

Dark and sparse and beautiful. I really enjoyed this, it felt very real and true to the characters. I'd love to read more of your take on this troubled, and troubling, couple.

The whole thing was eerie, I had shivers when I read it, and the parallelism you built up with the 'pretty' was very nice as well. Very well written, it treads that fine line between poetry and prose the way only a few can.

I had a feeling that this would hurt because, you know, it's Davy and Calypso and it just kind of has to hurt.

That and just wow. This is just touching and a real hard punch to the gut; the whole thing leaves a coppery taste in your mouth.
