| fictionalcandie 2007-06-24 ch 1, | abuseSalient point number one: I have not had ANY ice cream in two weeks, so we should be safe, and my review should be at least mildly sane. XD Salient point number two: I have decided, again, that you are amazing and your fics are awesome and fun to read even when I am upset by external circumstances. ... And, um, all the rest of my salience is less pointed? I found this fic very moving. It was touching and to-the-point, and ripe with what I find to be a readily-accessible depth... as opposed to the kind of depth that, though not necessarily superior or inferior to this kind, has to be searched for diligently, and then studied to be understood properly. Plus, your imagery was, as always, one of the best parts of the fic. Burnt amber eyes? Wildest dreams unfurling pearly wings? Unpicking the seams of you? Mad, mad, MAD love. Also, you have nothing to worry about as regards clarity. I didn't misunderstand it this time! :P Not that I'm the ultimate authority, or anything, but yeah. Haha. Oh, yes, and because I've found it now, salient point number three: Jodi Picoult is fantastic! (Don't ask me why that is important enough to be a salient point.) |
