| Donteatacowman 2008-07-30 ch 2, | abuseAwesome story... the scene changes were a bit confusing in the beginning, but it went smoother later on. |
| Mulletmanalive 2007-11-08 ch 2, | abuseOk, where to begin. I really like the way you adapted the story, though you missed the Kirsten Dunst character completely, which was one of the primary interests in the film. Ron was an interesting choice to replace Kate, though he is the less serious one but he does have the insecurities of the Jim Carrie character. Winslet's character had none of that. Your prose flows well and has a good beat to it. That is something that comes with practice and when it is absent drives me crazy. My criticism is the same as i hand out time and again. Be careful not to overuse pronouns [his, her, they etc] or overuse the name of a character. It sounds like something that is easy to avoid but most authors [including myself] are often drawn into the trap. Try reading what you're writing because stories are most enthralling when you feel like you're being told this story while sat on your grandfather's lap. Nice piece of work and i think you can chalk it up as a win. Probably not worthy of a Fannie as is, but what artist can avoid going back and trying to outdo their older works? Thom |
| bigherb81 2007-10-07 ch 2, | abuseGreat story I haven't seen that movie but if it's half as good as this story I definately want to check it out. Did a really good job liked the little adventure through the memories the good and the bad. |
| Drakonis Aurous 2007-10-02 ch 2, | abuseI haven't seen the movie but that didn't deter me from enjoying this story. Kind of sad that they had to resort to such measures to carry on. It is nice to see that they were wiling to get back together and try again. Well done. |
| Go10 2007-09-11 ch 2, | abuseYou think this story is your best work? Na...it has to be About a Ron. |

| Zaratan 2007-06-22 ch 2, | abuseMan, I had tears in my eyes when I was doing the beta on this, and there's still some there now. Simply beautiful and moving. |
| CMY 2007-06-22 ch 2, | abuseHey, I LIKE your Ron-centric fanfics. Who is more fanfic-producing and recopying in KP than the Ronster? And just in case, the idiocy known as Kigo dosen't count as fanfiction. Just shameless people who are trying to bastardize a phenominal cartoon. It is people like you, yvj, who truely give commemorating and honouring stories to the greatness that is Kim Possible. No flattering here. Even if they feel they don't, wish they don't, even believe they don't, they need each other. Kim will always need Ron around, for figural, mental, and literial survival. No wonder she cried so much for reasons she couldn't understand. Even losing your memories can never make you lose the Soul-Touch.(sorry, found out about the term from the Knuckles series in my younger days and the name just stuck with me). Kimberly Possible and Ronald Stoppable are destined to be together. Nothing can change that. Nothing. Not even fate. Not even death. And certainly not losing their memories. They will be together. Nothing can change that. As for Ron, though I sometimes wonder if Kim truely deserves him(to me, she never really appreciated how meaningful he is to her life), he needs her. He really does. Money, power, fame, glory, he'll throw it all away for her. So imagine if he loses her without ever knowing it. God, what a tragedy...thank the Lord that it worked out in the end. There is an angel, Ron-Man. And he is watching over you(and demanding a raise from his boss everyday). And as for those money-laudering corporate b(beep!)ds...if my character Riley ever got his hands on them...let's just say he'll be using that machine and overloading the power outage, leaving them in a ever-rolling film of memories, irreversably tossed into a state of insanity for the rest of their lives. And what would my character say? "An eye for an eye. Justice is served." Sorry, I'm practically obessed with him now. Speaking of which, have you ever read Todd Mcfarlane's Spawn? Anyway, this beautifully paced and rendered fanfic has got me interested in the film. Maybe I'll watch it someday, if I ever saw it. Thanks a lot for this wonderful fanfic, yvj. 10-Q very much. And about MiddleWood, please, please amp up the drama of Felix and Ron's inevitable confrontation to a point where it cannot go up anymore. That will be the moment I've been waiting for most ever since I first read and visualized Felix searching relentlessly for the Scarecrow. Please make that moment when they will first see each other as a moment KP fanfic readers will never, ever forget...10-Q. Until next time, this is CMY, the long-winded guy. P.S. I strongly recommend(well, plead, actually) that you read Akinyi's fanfic, 'Ron the Babysitter'. PLEASE read it. I beg you. PLEASE... |
| Solarstone 2007-06-22 ch 2, | abuseI found the story to be emotionally draining. It was a nice little angsty piece. I especially liked how KP and Ron don't get their memories back, but are willing to give it another go, maybe this time for good. Its sad to know that they lost over 15 years of precious memories. |
| dantecell 2007-06-21 ch 2, | abuseThis was a great tale to read. Being a huge fan of the movie this fan fic is based on, I was very pleased with the sequence of the tale. It went the same way the movie did and I liked how you worked in Patrick to the tale. I really enjoyed it. |
| wopr 2007-06-20 ch 2, anon. | abuseDammit! I had that movie in my netflix queue and you went and ruined it for me! Good job on the fic, I suppose. |
| zardoz101 2007-06-20 ch 2, | abuseI haven't seen the movie yet, but now that i have read this I will be sure to pick it up this weekend. this story "ROCKS". Great job. |
| karenstern05 2007-06-20 ch 2, | abuse"Woah" was the only word I could say as I read this. Tears forming during their junior prom dance. I can say this was very confusion at first (cause I've never seen the movie) but as I read more, I understood more. I loved it to bits. Going on my Fav. Stories list, no doubt. -Karen Stern 05 LOVED IT! LOVED IT! |
| Stand Alone Battle A.I 2007-06-20 ch 2, | abusewow... i didnt think it be possible to write a story that could be any where near as good as the movie itself, but you have proven me compleatly wrong. the diolog was immaculate and you ending was beautiful. im blown away, keep it up! |
