SeungSeiRan 2009-06-26 . chapter 1Oof! I loved this one too! So much gorgeous subtlety *squeals* |
Kent J. Williams 2008-09-06 . chapter 1I read the tenth chapter of Honey, a thirty kisses challenge by Coco-Minu which she says is inspired by this at the start. Amazingness, comes form amazingness, I see. |
Okuyukashii 2008-09-01 . chapter 1I like this story. It shows the brother-sister relationship well. Great job! |
Coco-Minu 2008-08-22 . chapter 1Very sweet sand sibling bonding, I really liked it. Temari insights always drag me in, but this one was just wonderful. |
SabakunoBri 2008-04-07 . chapter 1so sweet... i love it, its... the only word i can find right now is: captivating. |
Lost in Crimson 2008-02-08 . chapter 1I adore this story so, so much. Not only did you go deep into Temari's character, beyond the stone-faced ** some people portray her as, but you've also expressed her in a way that I can absolutely relate to.
The part that brought me to tears is about the masks, how she wears them to survive, and how she hates and is afraid of her inner self. It really reminds me of what I've read, and how I feel: how playing pretend comes so easily, you're afraid of not pretending. Temari's characterization was flawless and breathtaking.
I love how it ends on a happier note, that Kankuro loves her sister as who she is, and accepts all of the "masks" she carries along with her. |
midday.dreams 2008-01-03 . chapter 1Aw, that was so cute. :) I love these kind of fanfics...the ones that show sibling love. ^^
Great work!
Ja ne, Kiko [I'm going to read 'Like this' later, cause my mom's in the room now. I'll make sure to review!] |
Roses of Sharon 2007-11-15 . chapter 1Wow - this is really, really amazing! Great job, and I love the moments between the siblings, and the italicized parts are very, very good! |
SharpiesSmellGood 2007-10-14 . chapter 1That was really beautiful, and I thought it captured Temari and Kankuro's relationship really nicely. Temari always wearing a mask and trying to act like Temari of the Sand instead of Temari sounded really in character to me. Anyway, really great fic. |
 Just A Reader 2007-08-09 . chapter 1 Beautiful and emotive |
anamariewrites 2007-08-04 . chapter 1This was a beautiful story. Pretty in such a way that the words were just so smooth that it was absolutely relaxing. Maybe I'm a bit weird to think that stories have a texture, but your story really did, it's like at any minute the words could float right off of my computer screen. Your description was flawless, something I find very refreshing after searching and search for some Sand Sib fluff and coming up with nothing but bad-fic.
I found them completely in character and it was so easy to believe that Temari would act thing way around her siblings, around Kankuro.
The way you added in useless pieces of information, like where they got the chair in the reading room, and how Kankuro loses his place on the page made this fic seem a little more homey and so much more personal.
The last line was wonderful because it was smooth just like the rest of the story and let me with a goofy little smile on my face.
Goodness knows how long I could gush about this story, but I'm dead tired and really should be sleeping.
Thanks so much for writing this and sharing it with us. |
Yadda Blah 2007-07-13 . chapter 1that... was... so... awesome... Meep... |

Tonnerre 2007-07-07 . chapter 1You want me to cry huh? This is a seriously expressive piece of work here. I hope to write like you one of these days.I love the relationship you've given delved into with those two. I have nothing else of meaning to say except, cool. |
kawaiitenshi 2007-07-05 . chapter 1 This is by far oine of the most indept fanfics I've ever read. So much like poetry and yet such a good short story. I give it five(10)thumbs way up! |
