I love this! You capture them so brilliantly! I'd really love some more! Are there any more Blood Ties that you've done! I'd really look forward to reading them! There aren't nrealy enough out there, especially Henry/Mike stories. Although, this doesn't really count as slash, more like pre-slash if anything! Kind of a tease, read it expecting some hot mike/henry action and didn't get any! Come on man! Where is the Hotness?!

I can vouch on the effectiveness of poutine as a comfort food :-D. I didn't know they had some in Ontario - I thought for long Quebec was the only place you could get any - but it wouldn't be surprising that it has started to spread :-D.

These were all excellent shorts! I loved that each chapter was the continuation of the previous chapter with a new POV, and not merely always the same situation retold from all 3 POVs. And your writing is excellent! I really felt like I was there watching them. Their voices were very distinct and totally their own. Striking. Plus, those ambiguous moments between Henry and Mike...those moments Mike surrendered to Henry's sexual allure without being fully conscious he did...simply delicious!! I hope you write more.

Hey! Great story. I've just come into this fandom, watching Blood Ties and reading the fics posted. Yours is one of the best I've read! Very good job at keeping to the cannon characters. I really hope you continue this line of Henry and Mike, I'd love to read more.

Very well done. I've always had a certain fascination with the odd relationship Henry and Mike share. And even after finally finishing watching the series online...I STILL can't quite figure out how they arrived at the companionable respect they seem to have in season two versus Mike's blatant disdain and Henry's playful but intense taunting from when they first met. I know Heart of Fire was the turning point...but it takes more then what were shown. So an aftermath like this makes total sense to me. And the fact that you write everyone so dead on certainly helps.

I'm not partial to slash...but Henry DOES have that vampire magnetism and I don't know that that's something he can turn off. Compound that with the fact that they're both in a very vulnerable place right now...and...well...it's friction that makes sparks.

I very much enjoyed this story and would love to see more of the 'bantering' between Henry and Mike. I hope to read more from you. And, you are correct, poutine is very good. Especially when it has lots of cheese and gravy on it. :)

That was really good! You caughter the characters, their dialogue and interaction quite well. Loved the "Putting the Whammy" line. Enjoyed.

I've never had a chance to watch the show--didn't even know it existed until a week ago, sadly--and don't have a cable so I can try to find it. But I was a big fan of the books, and the thought of a Mike/Henry pairing was just TOO good to pass up. It was nice.

I'm not into slash much myself, but find I'm equally charmed by Mike and Henry, so it works. Keep those updates coming.
