gioia-gg 2007-09-29 ch 9,	abuseHey Cara, I'm finally here to review. First, I've gotta say I so love Epilogue, it gave the feeling that everything indeed is going to be okay. It was just perfect for the ending of this amazing stroy. Not fluffy, or unrealistic light-hearted. Because I don't think it would have suited to the whole story. It was a dark piece from the start so I'm more than glad that you didn't fall for a hiper-uber-happy-all-is-well ending. "I'm getting there." was a perfect last line. “Daniel, you have no instinct for the dramatic flair.” Hehhe, I so loved that line. Your Jack like always got the big prize for this line even if he was just kinda a special guest in this chap. But he is very right, Daniel had no concept of dramatic effect even though he was the one who came up with the idea:) The last chapter was great, and Vala finally had her long expected nerveous breakdown. I'm glad that she didn't spill the beans out at first, because I don't think it would have been realistic either for Vala's character. She is one of devoted supporters of the 'Denial is our friend' club. But I really understand her, I couldn't do it either, and frankly who could? The scene with the mother and child was done very well, I was expecting a thing like that since the fair thing came in the eariler chapter. All of its good intention, it wasn't a good plan:)The scenes at begining, Daniel's fear, and desperate need to help her were done very well too and made me almost cry. I just loved this chapter too, Milena. It was kinda sad for us to read the last chapter, even if I read a long time ago.It was an amazing ride, and I can't thank you enough for this amazing story.
isabelqc 2007-09-24 ch 9,	abuseI bow to the greatness of this story. Even though Quetesh was an utter bitc* I'm glad you brought her in to pave the way for this. Ever chapter was perfectly written, and you had Jacob, which in of itself makes the story even awesomer. Moments that killed: Vala telling Quetesh to kill the boys. Wow. To make that decision - it both shows how much Vala cares and still how strong she is. Also the "You can't love. I forbid you." scene/fight. Again, wow. And she lied! Quetesh and/or Vala. Because it could easily be taken that Vala lied to push Daniel away, thinking he would. I dunno my mind went circular at that bit. This was such a good fic.

MKRG 2007-08-21 ch 9,	abuseLike others have said before me, this ending was quite satisfying. This honest look at the PTSD of a former host breaks the heart, but it would be so true. When Vala was ranting in her room, I was almost scared for Daniel. Those were some very hurtful things to say. But in the end, we DV shippers all got what we want - a love between our heroes revealed and recognized. Great job!
ilna 2007-08-21 ch 9,	abuseyea! - i was so hoping you'd post this today, hope you don't mind but i'm taking it as a birthday present, so thanks! - nicely done all around, infusing the final chapter with adorable lighthearted moments (i particularly liked daniel repeating "i love you" to get that megawatt smile) and the appropriate amount of post-tramautic stress, i thought it was very powerful that she was so affected by the little boy at the fair. well done again, i have really, really enjoyed this story, you're a very gifted writer.
