I am not a Labyrinth reader, being rather thoroughly grounded in the Potterverse, but your story was recommended on Live Journals Fangirls Tour, and being insatiably curious, I ventured over to take a look.

This is a gorgeous one-shot, filled with rigid control of a monarch and the yearning of his soul for something he should not have. Your exposition is lush, and I think this is my favorite descriptor: 'It struck the door with a satisfying crack as the spine broke and pages fluttered to the floor like so many leaves.' Beautiful imagery.

After reading this i went to check out the main story. As i was reading this i thought, this sounds familiar. I have you in my fav authours and i forgot.

How do you do it?? Just...I'm in such awe of gifted people like you. I just finished watching Labyrinth on YouTube, and immediately afterwards I started craving fanfiction. That was when I stumbled on this story. You write like a poet, you know that? I sat with my mouth half-open all the time while reading, lol. I'm glad I came across your stories before anyone else's. This is really great! I'm not sure I understand how it's a prequel to some of the more complex stories in Dark Hour of Night (how did he get hooked up with the psycho chick?), but I'm just going to assume that will be addressed in that story. This was a really well written piece. I love reading your work--you are meticulous about punctuation, spelling, and grammer, which makes your work even more stupendous on top of your already great ideas for stories! Please keep writing, and if you ever decide to write anything original (and get it published!) please let me know because I would buy anything you write.
