Nifer 2008-01-03 ch 1, anon.	abuseWow. I love how the story feels like it makes a circle- away from pain and then back again. Too many authors do not acknowledge how long it takes to heal. And it made me laugh how Melchior is perceptive enough to notice Ernst and Hanschen. The only thing that made me curious is why you would think Melchior would be around to witness all of this. He has no home in the village- his parents kicked him out and his friends are dead. I always assumed he moved on to a city somewhere.

Especially the part about Ilse. I definitely got tears in my eyes.
