This is...interesting I like it

I'm intrigued so far. This is the first Holmes with amnesia story I've read, surprisingly. As soon as I read that's what you were doing, I thought "brilliant"! Surprised I haven't seen such a thing so far.
Your Holmes reminds me of J.A. Roberts, a very good ff writer who also writes under the name Tony Vernon-Smith. You write him sort of blunt, his heart buried deep within himself. Surely Watson will be able to pull it out, though. ;)
If I had to offer a criticism, I would suggest slowing down a bit. You seem to have rushed to get Holmes back to London and back to Watson, and while I understand that, I also want more of a characterisation of Morgan, her husband and more of Holmes brooding.
But I'm very intrigued to see where you take this and what it takes for SH to get his memory back.
