So it's hanging here, mellowing out, you know, taking it easy, like you I presume. So you've probably decided to let this story slide and that's cool. WitchGirl 2007-08-09 ch 6,	abuseA few things I forgot to mention last review: 1) Marley reminds me a little bit of River Tam of Firefly (and the movie, Serenity)... If you've never seen it, then I'm sorry for referencing it, but she does. And that's a good thing, because River was really messed up in the head. 2) If you want to make this a two-parter, go for it. I almost went that way with Night Bleeds and decided against it. I almost regret it, as my "part two" is so long, but I will divide it in story (I'll label the sections part one and part two). 3) There was a little typographical error in the last chapter I thought you'd like to know about. I generally skip them, but this could get confusing: "Grissom nodded, then addressed Nick and Greg before addressing Sara again." You mean Warrick, not Greg, yes? Anyways, I hate nitpicking, you're doing a swell job. About this chapter: 1) An interesting little factoid about colors (and I learned this in my costumes class): White is only the color of innocence in the Western Culture. In many Eastern religions, it's actually the color of death, ghosts and the unknown, and has even crept into some Western practices (such as the white lily on the grave). Just a tidbit, that's all. I love what you did with colors in this. 2) Very nice touch, I think you nailed this mystery. Rock on.

I haven't been reading much lately (I took the latest Harry Potter book and demanded it tell me the answers before it occurred to me to crack it open and read it myself). But this is nice and interesting, and very juicy. I'm off to finish it now. Things are slowly coming together. Fantastic.

You should definetly do more mystery writing in the future. Keep it up :D

Which is good, though, because it'll give me incentive to wake up early, and something to look forward to. Fascinating stuff here, I promise I'll be back.
