OMG! I totally love Karl! It was so funny when him and Ilsa were fighting. I only ever watched the Hellboy movies, but never the comic books, so I never thought of Karl as having a complex personality and emotions and stuff. Wow, that sounds like I'm so ignorant doesn't it? I mean I could tell that he was peaceful when he was listening to his music at the end of the movie and I've resently read about his backstory which involves him being in the opera so I understand that he has emotions, but I've never read a detailed description of what he's actually thinking like what you wrote :) He's way more human-like than what I thought he was. Just makes me love him more!;) Thank you!

i have to say that was very enjoyable. aside from my cat sleeping on my hand(she still hasn't gotten up) i found that an interesting point of view. most stories that include Kroenen paint him as a practically mindless monster, but you made him both comical and,dare i say it, human.

well, as human as he is capable.
