Ah! Who was it Ash or Gary. They are hints that it was Ash. That he lost to Gary. The comment on the sign was the only thing and the Misty indication was the only hint that it was Ash. The Sign on Cerulean City I think but was it Ash? or was it Gary? But there are also indications that it was Gary. The igorant parts of being stubborn and being like him. That sounds like Gary. Wait! What if the sign thing went the other way? You won't want to call the Pokemon Master a loser right? So Gary would probably want to remove it cause it stated his name. Gary was here! Ash is a loser! He probably won't want people to know what he put on public property. OH! i'M so confused. Was it Ash or was it Gary? It is so sweet and sad, but me like.

Losing is tuff, especialy against your (childhood) then again, it teaches us a who's lost in a competition or something else has been thought a lesson, that lesson is different to one it might be what people call a "life lesson", to others it may be nothing more than a slap against the head because you KNEW all along that it would happen and just realized it... Oh boy, listen to me , sorry about that.I guess this story comes very near to what a person might think when he loses, but then again, everybody thinks something story.

I loved it. The title itself is so deep and thought provolking, you can't help but wonder. All the time losers are forgotten, and especially in this scenario. The gap between 1st and 2nd is huge. Also all the way through you're wondering who exactly did loose, Gary or Ash? And you never truely revealed it, merely gave one hint: "I should be thinking of how to remove that comment on that sign before it's preserved as a prophecy." You instantly remember the smudgy writing that stated, "Gary was here, Ash is a loser!" I also liked the very slight hint at AAML, it did add. This one goes on favorites merely because of the deepness.
