| Kent Rigel 2008-05-20 ch 7,  | abuseThese short little crossover fics are just brilliant - really. I'm a fan of Doctor Who/Torchwood, Stargate and Highlander (seen every episode of all these shows) but the icing on the cake was the Dresden Files (and the bookverse at that! Small Favours still not in Australia yet, damnit!). There just aren't many Dresden Files fic's out there, let alone good ones, and to find an artfully done crossover is just awesome. While I'm very very excited about that particular cross it's still a toss up for the Vala and Jack Harkness fic... mixing those two would be like mixing just a little matter and antimatter - a collosal explosion with a cascade of exotic particles - an absolutely beautiful disaster. |

Wonderful characterizations, and I think the only reason chapter 2 I didn't get as well is my lack of familiarity with the show Supernatural. The rest were so spot on that I could see the scenes unfolding in my mind. So well done, I wanted to read more of the encounters, like they had an interesting story beyond the fade outs. Thank you very much for painting those pictures! Hope you do more! |
