Ok great and lengthy chapter! I loved it! The last sentence was awesome. It pretty much summed everything up.

I guess, I think it's a little iffy that Paine doesn't like Rikku at all, considering she did grow to love (well, more-than-tolerate, at least, haha) her in X2, but I don't know the story between Gippal and Paine or what he's told her, so maybe there's a good reason for that.
Oh and the wait, that kind of sucks majorly :P But it's probably out of your control.

HOLY. CRAP. They slept together?! AH! I have no idea what to think. I mean -- holy hell! Incredible. Everything (like you said) has completely changed. Looking back at the story with what I know now is unbelievable. The characters feel realer, more alive. You've truly left me in shock and in the most annoying feeling of anticipation. lol

i loved this chapter D: i really did, all the backstory and little things that i should have saw coming (or should i say saw that had come, since it had already happened..??...confusing. i know that made no sense, haha) BUT I DIDN'T. :P
adrianna's kind of a skank ho, but at the same time.. i get it. i see where she's coming from in some ways, and in other ways, i want to punch her in the face, lolz.

your descriptions of scenes and feelings are so good, by the way. i've noticed that not just in this chapter, but in all of them actually; i've been meaning to tell you that all along but i always forget. you know how in so many other stories.. you can just read it and tell, "wow, this person has obviously never been through anything like this".. you know? (and other readers probably don't notice it because they haven't been through it either. maybe i'm just being condescending though, i dunno, haha.) anyways, that's what i mean. i don't get that at all with yours, it's very very real, painfully so.


but on the other hand... i feel cheeaated! i wanna know what happened after 15, and now i have to wait another two months at least, if that's even what the next chapter is gonna be about :[ it's like one of those out of order movies.. adds interest, but drives you crazy in waiting.
i guess that's a good thing, but at the same time... >:[ haha

I'm assuming that the events in chapter 14 pretty much all happened in the past. It was a great chapter. I can't believe that Adrianna and Shuyin screwed up.

This story is really something.

I was relieved after I read the prologue, where you said it would be written in prose; though, I gotta admit, it WOULD be interesting to see a story written in verse; not too many people write it like that, unless they're trying to be ironic or making a point.

I'm really enjoying it so far--the characters are so multi-dimensional, they "feel" really human. I'm enjoying Tidus' and Yuna's characterizations in particular.

No matter, I really want Rik X Gip to work out, so I'll keep hoping for that. Meanwhile, Tidus needs to clear his head a bit too, hm?

Well I guess it's a bit late to vote, huh? Oh well, I'll just throw my two cents in... Um... I like both, but in terms of passionate romance... the second prolouge looks more intriguing. In terms of nail-biting suspense, the first is more interesting.

The story:

Tension! Yay! So we have opposing forces now, right? Adrianna and Seymour. Plus we have maybe some other factors riding (like Rikku and Gip!) so I'm excited to see how those are revealed! Keep it up.
