The story was good, but I couldn't help but think it was weird that she never called him Remus. Even when they made love, she called him professor Lupin. I'm sorry, but that was weird. How can you love someone and never once call them by their first name, but their professional job title? At times that aspect seemed creepy, because it would make me see her as his student when she wasn't. Even Remus at times called her Hermione, so I just don't get it.

This is about the thirt time I'm reading this, and it just seems to get better every time I read it. This is the story that made me fall in love with the Hermione/Remus pairing, and now I'm even thinking about writing my own. I wish you had more HP stories, since I would love to read them. This has to be my favorite HP fiction out there. You kept both characters true to themselves for the duration of the story and it made the whole thing awesome.

::happy HAPPY sigh:: Oh, this has to be the most realistic portrayal of Remus/Hermione I've ever read. This just flowed seamlessly after HBP, and I truly want to applaud you for that. This whole story, and especially the epilogue here was beautiful and awkward and REAL. Thank you for writing my new favorite RL/HG fic! :D

Ooh, I really like how you described Remus as a werewolf. Too often, I've read fics that have the wolf tamed by whoever Remus loves. But you...kept it real, I guess? LOL I don't know how else to put it. It was a refreshing change, and you pulled it off brilliantly!

Ok, so I just had to comment on the "infernal moustache" = you've kept movie!Lupin's appearance, then? I'm equal parts surprised and slightly disappointed, HAHA. Not that I think David Thewlis is ugly--the more I look at him, the more I wanna pounce--but DAMN I HATE THAT 'STACHE. :P

I just finished this story, at 5:17 Am. I started about two hours ago and haven't been able to stop. I can't even describe how much I adored this. I'm an open minded person and therefore willing to read any story with Hermione in the pairing, but when I originally ran across this I was skeptical about the HG/RL shipping. I simply couldn't see it working in my mind; especialy since the few storys I have run across before badly portraied that couple for me. But after reading your story I feel I have been disproven to the fullest extent. In the future I plan to search out more of the like, although I feel I will always be biased and claim this the best HG/RL story I have ever read. It made me want to cry, it made my heart ache, but it a pleasent way. It wasn't sad; it just made me that happy. I beg you to write more for it was just to short! Now for an encore I'm going to read it again!

i don't know why i've never reviewed this story, it's been a favorite for a long time. i'm sure you've been told many times just how utterly brilliant this work is, but i'm going to tell you again, because it just cannot be stressed enough. your grasp of the english language and just how to wield it astounds me. i loved how you intertwined the prologue and epilogue and how you described everything they were feeling. this is the best remus/hermione i have ever read.

That is, very seriously, one of the best paragraphs I've ever read. I truly mean that. I mean, the entire store is very well-written, but that paragraph shines above the rest.

I must say that this story was an incredibly enjoyable read. It's so hard to find a good Harry Potter fanfic out there and I'd practically given hope when I came across yours. It was interesting, funny in parts and very easy to relate to (with the characters' emotions). You made Lupin sound so sexy! You've done a wonderfully job with this story and so did your beta :). I'm glad that I found this story.

I love that Remus was still remus but didn't (as he does in most stories) try to deny himself Hermione's love and affection. So rarely do I find a story where he embraces the idea of loving her without a great deal of torment.

This has to be one of my favourites! It is difficult to find a very well written Remus X Hermione fic, and you my friend have done it. My thanks to you for posting this for your readers to enjoy.
