Calliope Medina Erato 2009-06-30 . chapter 42 Again too lazy to sign in. I see what you mean on how anti-Ryuuzaki this is but hey it's ok I don't like her that much from the moment she remarked on how Fuji got his revenge through Niou. Adults especially teachers have to be responsible in keeping an eye on their students/wards.
I know this is supposed to be grim but Watanabe swearing made me laugh especially when he said that his swearing would only increase the students' vocabulary earlier than when they become adults. He does have a point though. |
Calliope Medina Erato 2009-05-22 . chapter 39 Again too lazy to sign in.
Ooh, I've seen that movie Sliding Doors (I really like the soundtrack and Gwyneth Paltrow). The interesting part was if she still resumed her old life she would have still met the new guy.
That's why I like what-if situations it's so nice to see the outcome.
And the ice cream bribe? Fabulously funny along with Kintarou screaming at him that he's a monster.
I also like the part where Kenya knocked some sense into him in the previous chapter. |
Calliope Medina Erato 2008-12-18 . chapter 31 Too lazy to sign in.
I read both chapters and I was honestly, laughing especially the first one. It was so funny especially when he was referring to a plant.
I had no idea that you still remember that idea I told you about.
People have their own ways of interpreting or seeing a character so opinions would vary. For me, Shiraishi is ordinary except his perfect tennis and bandaged arm but even without it he would still be interesting (at least for me). |
Calliope Medina Erato 2008-10-18 . chapter 29I know, I know I should have enabled my story alerts here. But you know why I hardly come here anymore. Well, today was a different day so here I am.
I laughed at the last story here where it describes Shiraishi having OCD. While he's hardly the type of guy who wipes at anything that has dust on it, his tendency to be perfect in almost anything could be a problem.
I also like the fact that Aoi Kentarou is in the story on the second to that last chapter. I like the Rokkaku captain. Rokkaku has been in the nationals for a long time, it was only in the series that they ended up losing badly from Seigaku and then Higa.
There are a few things that may require editing but aside from that, you manage to get the story going. Plus, I end up getting to know Shiraishi a little better *for my own reference...ya-ha!* |
animeannie 2008-08-24 . chapter 1I was reading someone's else story, and their theory was that Shiraishi just had really long scars from a cat on his left arm. And he usues the bandages to cover them so people wouldn't think he cut himself. I like taht theory better, because if he did hhave a diesese, why only on his arm? |
Calliope Medina Erato 2008-02-22 . chapter 18You've updated again! I didn't realize it since it wasn't included in my story alarms (note to self: add this story to alerts).
I've read both chapters and I laughed at the way Shiraishi was indirectly saying to his parents to hand over the tape, all traces of being this cool junior high student disappeared and is just a regular 12 year old boy who loves tennis.
Gin's injury with using his hadokyuu and Watanabe-sensei's intrusion in both the OVA and manga is surprising as one would think of him as this bum who shouts and smokes (one forum I stumbled into thinks Shitenhouji's a bunch of drug crazed hippies). But he cares for his student's welfare even if it's rarely shown.
I also reread the chapter about Niou and his loss to Fuji in this fic and the actual match in the manga (and was dreading at the idea of Sanada slapping him). I also discussed it to my friend (or rather ranted at her) and she said that what Ryuuzaki-sensei said was dumb because they can surpass the clone but not the real deal.
Niou have exerted a lot of effort to imitate national level players like Tezuka and Shiraishi (as he is a national level player himself) despite his devil may care attitude. I mean, he does that with his doubles partner, so why not with other players? |
 Kisaratezuka 2008-01-21 . chapter 16This chapter was very well-written.
I totally agree with you in every aspect regarding your point of views. Keep it up!
Please update soon! |
Calliope Medina Erato 2007-12-27 . chapter 14I like this chapter as it reflects the trend of POT fics. While I have yet to write one, I can relate because I write Slam Dunk fanfiction and I can see that both animes have the same trend. Either yaoi or OC fics that sometimes tend to border on Mary Sue. While most authors do their best to avoid their OC's becoming too perfect, sometimes it can't be avoided.
So, I don't blame you for hating some OC fics.
On the story itself, I nearly died of laughter when Ashita fell asleep before Shiraishi can finish his so-called speech. Imperfections make life and people more interesting. If life's perfect sometimes it can get too boring. |
Maddery 2007-12-10 . chapter 13I have finished reading the chapter 365, the conclusion of the match between Fuji and Niou. I shared the same opinion with you, and I really think the Seigaku team is really stupid in this one, especially Fuji and coach Ryuuzaki. The Seigaku members are really 'blind', don't you think so? Fuji has forgotten that his opponent IS Niou, not Tezuka, not Shiraishi. He claimed that he is a genius, so don't tell me he forgot that a copy can't really be as 100 percent perfect as the original? That was so stupid of him to say that he had avenged his loss against Shiraishi (which, I am sure, won't happen since he hasn't has a rematch with the real Shiraishi). Coach Ryuuzaki too as well. How dare she comment that the new Fuji is now able to surpass Tezuka and avenge his loss from the last match! How stupid can she be, blinded by her own student's victory? Urgh! I really hate her! Stupid coach. The new Fuji is still not able to defeat both Tezuka and Shiraishi yet! I really pity Niou (and Shiraishi as well). How come not many people pity them, but rather, the Seigaku? Poor Niou and Shirashi. And Sanada as well. I don't see anything wrong with him trying to change his play style. How come people suddenly complain that he played dirty and not worthy of his title "Emperor"? Poor Rikkai~
p.s: Say, have you read the new Tenipuri fanbook 40.5? If you have read the interview, you'll get the hidden message that Konomi wanted Seigaku to be the hero school (which means Seigaku might win the Nationals, not Rikkai). Try to read the translated interview and you will get the answer to questions that you have been asking at your fanfics and livejournal. Which reminds me, can you use cut to all your very long post at your livejournal? It kinds of distract us from searching certain posts. I hope I won't anger you by saying that. Please forgive me for being rude |
Maddery 2007-12-07 . chapter 7Ahaha, what a funny chapter =) I am guessing that you are using manga Sanada's personality in this story instead of the anime, right? I prefer animeSanada than mangaSanada for that reason. Yes, Yukimura is a very mysterious person, but that is what is so attracting about him. But I know he is one scary person (just read the latest chapters of manga, the nationals part). I don't know which one to choose, either the story that you post on fanfiction. net, or at your blog. But both are good, although the ending part at your blog is much more funnier (if I remember correctly, he said it was interesting BUT he did not want to join it anymore if Rikkai is present). Say, I would like to know more about the captains' meeting in 20.5. I don't have the book, and even if I have it, I can't read it 'cause I don't understand Japanese nor Chinese. |
Maddery 2007-12-07 . chapter 1Just wanna comment on something: I believe one of the main reason why Shiraishi had his hand bandaged is because his hand must've hurt due to his vigorous practise. Seriously, your hand can get injured/hurt when you play tennis. I know because I ever experienced it once (but not as much as Shiraishi though). Just imagine Rock Lee from Naruto. Both of them has the same case (in bandaging their hand(s), that is). |
Calliope Medina Erato 2007-12-06 . chapter 13I'm surprised you've added 2 more chapters in the story since I thought it was 11 chapters long.
Not bad. I like the thoughts from Shiraishi and especially their conversation with Yukimura. Both boys are very mysterious. |
 Kisaratezuka 2007-11-26 . chapter 11an update! kyaa!
shiraishi is really one of the mysterious character to me...talk about 'poisoned hands'...
please update soon^_^ |
seigakuprodigy 2007-09-20 . chapter 8Ha ha sorry about the plagarizing thing, it wasn't really an accusation though, I was just curious. Sorry if you were offended. |
 seigakuprodigy 2007-09-08 . chapter 7OH MY GOD!
I don't know why, but your idea of how Shintenhouji is like, is a lot like my idea.
Especially the part about Kintarou saying Chitose is no fun (on the train too)
No offense, and it's okay if you did, but did you get the idea from me? |
