I honest to God teared up at the end. Though, reading the other reviews, it's a relief to know I wasn't alone in that.

You sent me into mourning all over again. You understand Zoe so well, and Wash, too, and you broke my heart. Lovely.

This has me tearing up. I think you wrote all the characters very well - especially Zoe. I love that she and Wash shared something so simple and tender between them in the midst of all the chaos that surrounds Serenity. And that River doesn't sit in Wash's chair, that part just really touched me. Wonderful story, one of the best I've read about Zoe losing Wash. Thank you for sharing. :)

This story is excellent. The pacing is great, and you've captured the characters perfectly. I really felt Zoe through this, and I could easily see this as part of the storyline of Firefly. You've done a wonderful job here, and I look forward to more of your work.

Oh... that was... that was perfect. Artfully handled; Zoe was down pat, and your use of River-- your understanding of River-- is extremely accurate. Bravo.

wow. Thats all I can say! That was so heart-breakingly beautiful! If they would have showed any og Zoe's grief on the movie, this is exactly how I imagined it would be like. BEAUTIFUL!

Well. /That/ was a decidley sad ending to the triology that started with the fluffiest bit of Zoe and Wash (woey? zash?) to ever hit the internet.

However, given what Joss did in the movie, it was a nessecary conclsion, and you made your stories and the events of Serenity mesh beautifully.

Any hope of more in the Walking the Black series?
