Well done. I have to say I like it a lot. Hope that there is more. Loved the pairing as odd as it was. Always wished there had been more to it. Yar was one of the most real characters in the series as was Data. Both were not used to their best extent.

Hi! I am just visiting this area of FF, I usually write in Lizzie McGuire, but I am a longtime fan of Star Trek TNG and I had the sudden thought to read something about Data, my favorite character, and this fit the bill perfectly!

I like that you brought back Yar, but I was surprised that you made no real mention of the intimacy they shared way back in season one. This could have too easily become soft **. You didn't take the easy way out. Very classy.

I also like how you have "humanized" Data, by showing that he cares about certain people in his life. Kind of poignant.

And yes, it was interesting to review all the changes and events that Yar would not be aware of. Nice. Hope you will write more here.
