I've never read a PotC/SM crossover before. -surveys curiously- Who was the girl, I wonder? Usa, I'd think, but you really can never tell with Jack can you?

And how do you know its an SM charater, the only thing we know about her is that she's blond, and petit, that mean, its either Usagi or Minako, or ANY OTHER CHARACTER IN THE REST OF THE WORLD!! thats not the most definate charateristics to define someone by. and did he get shot, or what? there must be a prequle to this *somewhere* i mean really, what is he refering to? and what happens next? there has to be a sequel too.

FINALLY, a PotC/SM crossover. Finally...FINALLY. I've been searching for a brand new one, one that didn't loose all hope of updating, and I found THIS heavenly story sent from above. Albiet, it is certainly a teaser, being a oneshot and all.

You captured Jacks personality well. He isn't the type to be immediately comforting, or a grovelling mess when one has him at gunpoint. Very well done. And I beleive that the mystery girl is Usagi/Serena Tsukino? Usagi seems the type to get all emotiona and decide against killing her...former lover? I dunno. The story itself was slightly vague on the whereabouts, and the plot was only barely recognizable, but I find that a good thing. If this were a chaptered fic, this would be a wonderful prologue. Leaving little detail creates mystery and suspense, and those two elements keep the reader wanting more in order to solve it. :)

A breath of fresh air long overdue, is what this oneshot is. And I am SO relieved I actually got to get a fix of PotC/SM before I exploded with miserable frustration.

Very nicely written.

Can't think of much else to say at the moment, unfortunately. Makes you wonder at the history these two had and how they both got to where they are now, but it's also more than able to stand by itself.
