I am so happy right now, it feels like my head isn't connected to my shoulders any more. And I was so right; you were being overly critical of yourself. This is so cute and well written and - holy crap I love it to pieces!

"What, in the name of God, was the connection between Phantom and kittens?" - Duddette, that was genius. It made me giggle like crazy. Your Peta voice is really, really believable. Lovely.

"The older man grunted from his position sitting on the floor, three kittens on his lap... length enough for a small bed for the kitten." - *giggling insanely* You've inspired me to draw this scene. Seriously. If I do, I'll send you a link; it's only fair. ^^ But the entire image is very, very adorable. I don't think Peta likes being a pet sitter. And I kinda feel sorry for him.

This was exactly what I wanted (and exactly what I needed; I was dieing without Peta fiction). You're writing it easy to read, makes sense and your story does too (which makes it even better!). And don't worry about it not seeming to have a point; as one-shots often don't have one.

However, just a little bit of critique: I'm supposing that Rolan stutters. If that's the case use a hyphen not an ellipsis; Ellipses means the reader must pause for longer than when you pause for a hyphen. And be careful of missing words. They're just a few things to make your awesome story even more awesome.

aw! cute fic =P i seem to be developing a liking towards PetaRolan stories now...they're too cute!

Erm, I didn't get the ending...but the kittens! Each knight getting one was a good idea. I wonder what everyone would do with them. Maybe dress them up? XD
It seems Peta is not very fond of Rolan's interests and maybe some of his actions, which makes me wonder why he likes him...ah, well.
It was a beautifully written fic! I don't think Peta or Rolan was OOC at all. You gave more character to Peta, him not liking Phantom's 'eccentric hobbies' and liking blood, but not tears. I think I am starting to like Peta; not because of his appearances, but his personality. I am eager to see more MAR fics from you!
