I loved the situation, and the way you portrayed the characters. Personally, I ship Stella/Mac, but in my opinion the ship doesn't make any difference to the quality of the story, and you wrote Stella/Hawkes very believably. But yes, very well written, great storyline. Thank you for writing it.

Remember the scene with Stella coming to pick Hawkes from prison? I just thought how good they look together. And now I (we :D) have the very first fanfiction with this pairing. Thanks to You. I hope that your another story is coming up. I can't wait! ;)

mj0621 2007-08-14 ch 20,	abusetries not to freak herself out 'cause she just realized that this is her first Stawkes fic to read T^T I never thought there'd be a day I'd read a fic that doesnt end with my ship/s :P moving on from my rant: Like I said, normally I don't really read fics that don't end up with my ship/s BUT yours was really worth the read :D REALLY. IDK exactly what got me hooked but this fic has it. It was bittersweet (me being SMacked and all LOL) for me but it was a nice ending. Sweet fic. :) I like how you ended it and how Mac FINALLY said sorry to them all. Wonder how Mac will react to Hawkes and Stel rolls eyes his fault :'( makes me sad to think that he's got no chance now feels a pang in her heart and starts sobbing :P so... put my babbling aside, you get my point right? gg -mj(wgf)

Am quite disappointed with the turn it takes into a Stella/Hawkes story. I see friendly chemistry between these characters, but not an iota of romantic chemistry so your direction has me quite dismayed. However, it is author's choice just as it is reader's choice to express our (or my, in this case) displeasure. I'd like to see you finish up by seeing Stella realize that while her friendship with Hawkes is strong, her future is with Mac at her side in all manners. :shrug: Just how I see it :)
