I just finished reading your first story "Hanging On" followed by "A Lady's Shield". Honestly, they are the best work I've read on the fanfiction site so far. Your plots are well-structured, and don't peter out somewhere three-quarters into the story. Your vocabulary is far more extensive than that of most authors on this site, and I really enjoy your story. I am just a bit anxious about having begun reading a story that isn't completed yet (going against my cardinal rule, there). I see that the last update was nearly a year ago, and am wondering if you ever finished this story, or will finish it. I would love to hear from you if you are going to continue it. Do you post anywhere other than fanfiction?

Write more! Write more! I enjoyed both this one and "Hanging On" so much. Please don't stop now. I have many questions, but I guess they will all be answered in the coming chapters. Are you going to have more of Kel, and when does the romance genre come in? How does Davir feature in the story? Is Roald in love with Phillippa? Will Kalasin change any? I really like your writing style because you make the characters seem very spicy and realistic. Pip is a girl I would like very much as a friend, and Ryan is interesting in his dishonesty. Andrea is a small tiger, while Kel stays very true to the books. I look forward with pleasure to the next installment, and please tell me when it's coming out!

Heya, Kiana. Just flicking through FFNet, and decided to see if you'd posted anything interesting there, and discovered this! Very nice surprise, but is it just me, or have you rewritten a couple of chapters and then continued?

Anyway, I throughly enjoyed catching up on it - had to reread the whole lot because I could remember hardly a thing that happened. It was no great hardship, I assure you. And I'll try and remember to check more frequently, because I really enjoy this series.

Um, I know you might be busy, writer's block, a crisis or two, etc, etc (of the possibilities), but could you tell us what has been delaying you, or if you are ending it here, or when the next chapter might been coming because I have been checking this site twice a week since Jan-Feb. Curiousity and/or closure just simply needs to be satisfied after awhile.

When are you going to update? You haven't updated for months and months! I don't want to nag, but please, keep writing. Are you having writer's block?

It's not letting me review again on Chapter 8, so I'm moving down the line. Yeah, I'm no longer creeped out, although it is still a bit creepy. I wrote that one late last night...things really get to you late at night, if you've noticed. Never read a scary book late at night. Oooh. ::shudder:: But anyway. I love your series. I've read all of your TP fanfics (I didn't read the LJ Smith fics because I haven't read the books) and I really like this one. I loved Hanging On, I want more. Pip is such a great character. And I like the sibling relationship between Ryan and Andrea. Please, please keep writing. I am metaphorically down on my knees, tearing at my hair. Pleeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaase! Keep writing! I must know.

Great story. Interesting plot twists. Nice characterization. I like it a lot, so keep writing. I don't want to have to deal with a cliff hanger for a month. What do the Shang say to Pip? I'm dying to know. Also, I'm kind of confused...just who is Pip going to be in love with? Is it Roald? Or is it Davir? Or is Kally going to fall for Davir instead of Kaddar? Because I really like Davir. He's a cool character. Well, whatever they do, I'm sure it'll be fun. But Davir needs a love connection. He's too cool to be lonely. And he needs a girl who will beat him up occasionally, verbally if not physically. Maybe someone we know. Maybe someone else. I don't know. Just keep writing.

I am thoroughly creeped out. Whoah, I am creeped out. Really good, but really creepy. How can you stand to write this? It's so creepy! Okay, I think I've made my point. Keep writing. I have to know what happens. Just please don't make it get creepier.
