Wow. Although, as of now, it seems that there's at least 3 entirely diff. stories going on... both greatly diverting, but different, which isn't good. They should weave in a little more soon, otherwise you'll be yanking us back and forth and taking away from the suspense and momentum of both...

Question- Pip isn't a page, right? So why's she sitting around with the squires? How did she meet them/become friends? I can see befriending Andi and Ryan, with the harpie incident, but the others...?

Things are beginning to make sense now... and I think Andi and Ryan are a cute pairing, goodness help me for obsessing over such things ... ;D

Plot's forming... I like it a lot, though I'm a bit confused about how the royals and the mages come in still...

One thing- have you been jumping back and forth? In flashbacks? I think I've got it figured out now, but maybe that could have been clearly, I dunno...

I have to admit, I've never thought of Kally as so obstinant. She's too much like her dad in this...

Ryan and Kel, hm? Where's Dom? (not that it bugs me too much, since Kel only had an inclination towards him and nothing else has developed there)

I like the plot line so far, although how Andi and Ryan and Kel tie in with it, I would like to know. And although the humorous mind-reading is fun, too much makes it go over the top into utter silliness. Which is also fun, but I feel like you're trying more for a serious, non-parody type story.

Once again I'm sorry it took so long to review. I love it once again. However I just can't imagine Davir being corteous and Kalasin being so so...submissive. I love the ending. Its so heartstopping. If there were pages to this story I would say it was a page turner...so where's the next page. *If you didn't catch that, well than that was me subtly hinting UPDATE SOON*. Well good job again.

I happened upon this story while procrastinating and read through it in one go... and loved it. Your writing style is absolutely lovely- you really use descriptions to your advantage.

I was kind of avoiding this story cos I have NO idea who Tamora Pierce is but this is BRILLIANT!

Can't wait to read the next installment on the 22nd.

There was some really brilliant imagery in the bit where Justinian whisks Kally away to the shadows! I love how Andrea is being taught by the Shang Stormwing, because they are just so different, and there's so much contrast between the two. I found that the whole Justinian/Kally forced relationship reminded me a lot of Blue and Chatoya, because both girls are unwilling partners in a relationship where the guy is just using them to get power and control...

Can't wait for the next chapter!

Ah! Wonderful...again! I was getting worried. I was reading and Pip didnt show up, then came the end and i was like "YEA!" I really cant wait for your next update! Having Kalasin taken made the plot a whole lot thicker! Please update!

I think we need some combined girl power about now. Kel, Pip, and Andrea, and maybe Kalasin if she can get herself free. :-)

An interesting chapter. Poor Kaslin, I think she is in a lot of trouble. I'm also wondering about the Phoenix, whether she has been reborn and if so into whom - if it's that route then I am tempted to think as Pip, seeing as she is the protaganist. Perhaps it's a completely new Shang Phoenix. I look forward to reading more :)

You have your work cut out for you to get everyone to work together that's for sure. When are you going to reveal who the pheonix is? :) Keep up the good work.
