GOD, from the first chapter till the last chapter, they are ALL good. Nice adjectives, and brilliant ideas, to top it off. XD rare combination, hey.

It was kind of confusing at the middle (somewhere, I forgot) about which one is the real one - the modern one or the ninja stuff one. But still, I managed to pull it off (as soon as Naruto does too lol, I'm slow). So yeah.

I loved this story! It was amazing! I loved the idea you had and the way you laid it out for us readers! I don't think that the first chapter was that confusing but I can see where some could be confused. I am so glad that I went back to read some of your other stories!! This one made my day and I will have to reread it at some point. ^^.

I have to say this is one of the few SasuNaru fics I can stand, wait-no-LOVE! The fact that you still kept the Shinobi world, yet made it the 'fake world' and have an AU reality that is the 'real world'- all in the same fic makes THIS simply brilliant! It's cool to think that in the fic, Sasuke is Naruto's anchor, and the Shinobi world is ours as we read this fic. I hope that makes sense somehow. It's friggin awesome.


Love that you didn't disregard other characters from the series-Kiba was probably my favorite and surprisingly, Ino as well. But all of them are pretty awesome and dead on in their representation.

One minor criticism I would like to address and then I'll be out of your hair!
In the beginning chapters there was a lot of emphasis on Naruto needing to tell his story and Sasuke's fear of what Naruto dreamed about him. Personally I felt like that tension, from the very moment that Naruto woke up, was going to lead up to a scene where Naruto explains everything, including his 'dream sasuke' to Sasuke. Instead, it is implied and then never spoken of again.
Maybe I just accidently skipped a part or something, but I honestly feel like that is something you should have addressed to make their relationship (though a friendship one and one of trust) a little more apparent.

OMG, great job! It was a joy to read! The first chapter especially mind-rape the reader because it's like WHUT the heck is going on?! But like any good author, you reveal the answers in time. Thanks for taking the time to write this!

I re-read the fic as you can see, yes, even though I finished it yesterday.
I couldn't help myself! I'm addicted. I would reply on the lemon chapter but doesn't let people review twice on a chapter...

And this time I appreciated it even more and noticed some things I hadn't noticed the first time I read it.

Now, for my actual review (of course I had to wait until I read the lemon!).

*sigh* Wow, I don't even know where to begin.

I had a bunch of things to say but now my mind is blank.

Well, first off, this fic is the one of the few stories that I've enjoyed so much that I didn't want it to end. In fact, that only happened to me once before this fic came along.
I found it this morning and skipped my first lesson so I could read it in peace and quiet (fanfics are consuming my life nowaday...)
For every chapter I read, I felt more and more anxiety about it being closer to its ending and the thought of looking for more SasuNaru fics just makes me groan. You probably know what a bitch it is to find a decent fic, not to mention a GOOD one.
I really didn't want the fic to end but at the same time I realize it would be silly to drag it out with love triangles and whatnot since Sasuke already admitted his feelings to himself.

The idea to have Naruto to drift inbetween the real world where he had parents and went to a normal high school, and the shinobi world was just utter brilliance.
I don't know how you came up with it but bless your heart for doing so.
I remember when I was on the chapter where Naruto drifted back into his coma, I was one step away from shaking my laptop and shouting "WHY GOD WHY?!" of course, I did that all in my head.

One of the things that I loved most about this fic were the side characters because they were truly terrific. I don't even like Ino but seeing her in this way, made me warm up to her.
And of course, knowing already your portrayal of Genma in Pyromaniac (I haven't finished that fic yet so my review there will have to wait, just a sidenote) I wasn't surprised by his perverted antics, not that I don't love them! Genma would be a hell of a lot more fun if he were like that in the manga.
Kiba *sigh* if I didn't love Kiba already, I do now.
He is such a supportive friend and the way he interacts with everyone it's so real. His friendship with Sasuke (which I found weird at first but then realized it wasn't all that bad) didn't seem forced and was just natural.
And Itachi...Itachi is always epic win no matter which universe he's in.
How he teases Sasuke and those questions he wrote for Sasuke just cracks me up. Gaara almost made me tear up when he told off Sasuke! It was so sweet of him to stand up for Naruto, a guy he has known for like 5 minutes, just because he was the first person to show him real kindness.
I love the entire gang, they kinda remind me of my own friends.

I love love LOVE how you develop SasuNaru. Most fic writers tend to have them doing it by the third chapter, which is ridiculous.
Not only that, they also tend to make them painfully OOC.
In this fic, yes, they could be OOC but it *worked* because of the world they lived in. In this world, Sasuke and Naruto had families, they had friends and most importantly they had each other so there was no reason for them to be unhappy so that explains why they were the way they were.
Anyway, back to my original point. I can't begin to tell you how much I loved it that you had Sasuke deny his feelings towards Naruto instead of taking him with open arms. It was realistic, for two guys who had been friends for that long and then suddenly feeling something more for each other, confusion was bound to happen.
I also love how you had everyone know Sasuke was gay and in love with Naruto before even HE knew it.

I liked how Naruto had a photographical memory. For me, it was like the equivalence of how quickly Naruto learned jutsus in the shinobi world.
Plus, it was nice to see his more intellectual side.

When I review a good SasuNaru fic I always mention my favorite SasuNaru moment. In this story, it would have to be in the beginning when Sasuke's shaving Naruto in his own special way. Not only was that incredibly hot, it was also sweet and a little heartbreaking because of the way he was "interacting" with Naruto. You could really see how much love he held for Naruto.

I won't lie, every time Sasuke tried to kill Naruto in the "dream" world, I died a little inside LOL.
Maybe because I can actually see that in the manga unless Naruto knocks some sense into Sasuke's thick head.
But the "You are my best friend" remark made it all up for me.
There's no hope for me, I'm a hopeless SasuNaru fangirl.
Speaking of fangirls, I LOVED how Ino was a Yaoi fangirl.

I hope I didn't make you blind my writing all of this nonsense.
My point with this entire review was that I loved the story, I think it's one of the best fics I have ever read and I rarely say that.

This is kind of a world I wished Sasuke and Naruto grew up in instead, where they could both be happy without any emotional traumas.

You should be proud of yourself, you have done a brilliant job with this story. Brava.

So since Sasuke had walked Naruto to the door, and Naruto hadn’t fought it... that meant that in their relationship, where either one could be the bottom... Naruto had essentially given up his rights as a top as soon as Sasuke disappeared down the driveway.

*snicker* I had the whole 'everyone knows but you'-thing going on when I figured out I was bi. So I find the Sasuke/Naruto-is-gay-thing in this story quite hilarious. Just because I know what it's like being in their shoes. Even though my scenario was slightly more like Naruto I guess. *ponders* When I 'confessed' to being bi I heard the "FINALLY!" a few times. *laugh*

Shit, the last line was so sad...

i really liked the way you introduced arashi in this chapter.. very casual and relaxed, but filled with simple understanding and wisdom. sasuke's interactions with naruto's parents show how close his is with them. i don't know how close they were before naruto's coma, but i'm sure they've gotten closer because of it. when sasuke was talking to kiba, again, kiba was very logical and concerned about sasuke. i like that kiba's not as clueless in this story as he is in some of your others :) but he's always such a caring friend. i think the way you show how sasuke misses the bigger things in favor for the little things he does with naruto provides a great foundation to their developing relationship later on. sasuke's attentiveness and concern with naruto is admirable and inspiring.. especially how he helps out naruto's parents.

i really like how your characters are never plain. the way you write about their thoughts and actions is complex.. exactly the way humans truly are.
