She had her chance...So now he's Gaaras...FOREVER! lol, I'm such a Gaalee addict (they're the best pairing the anime world will ever see!...well the cutest anyway.) I can't wait for your next update! Questions are on my mind now. Things like "Will Lee's busy schedule be to much?' and 'How will Gaara react every time some chick comes up to him and says she loves him?' You should check out Diplomatic Relations by Maldoror, Shes a GaaLee writer and her fics will forever make my heart skip. She's able to keep the characters within their personality so well. It's almost as if the things she writes couldv'e easily been written by Naruto's creator himself! Shes able to keep the characters so in balance with one another it's frighting!
