Wonderful blend of the two anime but with your own twists on the plot. ^_^ I have to say though... that the chapters concerning the Dark Tournament would not have held well on their own without having watched that part of YuYuHakusho, which as far as the story is concerned I feel made it hard to follow. Or rather... not as easy to follow as it could have been. This I think was mainly in points of never being told when the team found out the mysterious fighter was Genkei & Yuske's 'egg' hatching. If nothing else than all of a sudden Kagome's offering to wish Genkei back to life and without knowing the anime wondering 'Genkei who?' -if that makes sense. It happened again with Koenma's pacifier when he's hoping it has recharged some. O_o I was lost for a second there until I recalled the show! *laughs* I was really too far into the written story at that point to remember the cannon. ;) Which in ways is a good thing -means the story was gripping of its own right.

All in all really well written. ^_^ Kudos on writing such a novel. There ARE errors, as I'm sure you're aware with the final chapter's note of reposting. Things I remember primarily are al/all, weigh/weight, though/thought errors. I know there were others but those are the ones that stood out to me -and really I have no interest at the moment of pulling out a red pen or highlighter for error marking. *laughs* Nor should I take the time to re-read 43 chapters again so soon.

Seriously though, I love your take on the relationship from how it was forged to how it -well- ended with a great beginning. ^_^ Overall though I'd have to say my absolute FAVORITE scene was of Kagome & Youko where she was petting his ears. <3 Simply beautiful & utterly sweet. It said So much about them in such a quiet and unassuming way.

I also love how Rin was worked in to stay with Sesshomaru and how she in the end bore Inuyasha's Tetsaiga(gr.. hate trying to remember English-ation spelling for that!). It was a very nice touch, and though I like trying to pair up my favorite Daiyouki romantically for his happiness (okay.. because I don't like thinking about such manly grace & eye candy not passing down his sexy genes) I also like seeing a more subtle happiness for him like this.

Can I say again I loved your blending of the two universe concepts? *grins* It worked really well and gave reasons for a lot of things on both sides.

I seem to have stubled upon this story by pure luck. But oh my word! What a jewel this is! It has taken me close to two weeks to finish reading all of this, this is glorious! I love it very much! You are an amazing writer! Whoever you are, you are amazing! Thank you for writing so well, creating such a tantalizing yarn, I loved it!

Wow, I cannot believe more people haven't reviewed this amazing story. I always liked the Kagome/Kurama pairing but sadly, most fanfictions were not very good or left uncompleted. I'm very glad you've written such an in depth, detailed story and hope that you plan another story with this pairing.

I have read you're story and I must say I am almost speechless. Not enough to write this here review though! You took a hugely unlikely pairing and not only made it seem probable but turned it into a beautiful heartwarming story that throughout reading never failed to bring a smile to my face in good times and tears to my eyes in sadness, happyness, and anger at the injustice of some charaters. Never Have I loved a Youko Kurama story more. I feel you've captured his charater in a stunning way. You didn't make him the usual cliched Youko that has only a heart of ice and a cruel character. You managed to keep him frostily calculating and selfish with hints of good old Kitsune mischief, that kept me laughing with his rather sarcastic humor. I have to admit at first I was a bit skeptical after all I am not the hugest Kagome fan ever. However I fell in love with her character and Kurama's all over again in this story. Everyone was completely in character from the ever sarcastic Hiei, the Bubbly Botan, the Childish ruler of the spirit world to even the hard to write Sesshomaru. I also loved the way you portrayed Kuronue. No fic has ever hit so on mark with my image of our bat-like theif. The only regret I have I suppose is that this story has come to an end. I looked forward to reading more so much that I became a slave to my computer. (Quiet literally lol) I look forward to those theamed stories you mentioned very much! I also hope that you write another Kurama Kagome fiction. I did so enjoy this one! If its even a fourth as great as this I will not feel cheated in the least! This was a really wonderful read - I didn't get much done over the last few days but I don't regret a thing ^^ Your writing style is a pleasure to read and there were remarkably few typos. The way you tied IY and YYH was very creative and allowed the characters to be themselves despite the changes. I haven't read much Kag/Kur before, but you've made me a fan of the pairing! If I had to make one crit, it would be that some of the scenes during the tournament were very confusing for me, since it's been several years since I've seen YYH - I had to stop and go read episode summaries to figure out what was going on. It was mostly Kurama's last fight that bothered me, because I was getting so caught up in what was going on, but then I was so confused! If you ever revisit this story, that's the only thing I would change. ^^ And I would definitely like to see a oneshot!

Hi, i've read a lot of fanfiction over the years, yet i could only remember a few where every single sentence was a pleasure to read. I love the way you say thing and the way you treat the characters and the story itself. I have not finished reading all the posted chapters but i can surely say that it is one of those stories that i will not forget.

Imagination and motivation are wonderful things, and those that i wish i had more of. So i want to thank you for sharing this with us, and i cannot wait to finish reading the story ( althought i don't want it to end! )

Oh that one-shot sounds interesting since I've read the entire story(and boy was it long^^) and really enjoyed reading it and would love to read it also:)

You know what? I think that any Kagome/Kurama story, one-shot or not would be amazing.
But i think i really do want to know more about their story after the mess was settled. The epilogue made me really want to know more and i was really hoping that you would elaborate.
So please, write that one-shot!

I have to say that this is the most wonderful cross-over I have ever read. You give the characters personality that actually represents them ( a rare feat indeed). And by the way your ending is ingenious! You're correct; ending a story is foolishness, and open ending gives way to interpretation, and makes the reader think... well done! ^_^

I am very relived that you did Kurama justice. But I am not sure how great an idea bringing Miroku and Sango into this fic was. Perhaps you could elaborate for me the relationships between this fic and cannon are?
