Aw poor poor Deidara I forbid you to make this a oneshot. As for your question I read My Cherry Blossom, and I don't think this would serve as a prequel at all. In this piece Deidara seems so heart broken and lonely about the death of Sasori, while in the other one he decides he's over Sasori's death and starts kissing Sakura. This one just shows how deeply in love he was with Sasori, and you can't get over this kind of loss so quickly unless, he's just pretending to be in love with her so he can dump her and break her heart. is that the case?
