I was aware of your relationship with Roger.I did not however

realize the depth of that friendship. Your story is a remarkable

one and a testament to the innocence of youth.

I was a big Maris fan from the day I saw that magnificent swing.

You and I are the same age.

Andy...in seven days we will celebrate what I consider to be the

greatest moment in sports during my really has been 50 years. My only wish would be for Roger to be here to celebrate it with you.
