I wonder why there's not many fics with this pairing. I mean, it's a known fact that Rude has a thing for Tifa (it's common knowledge... right? I guess not), but people probably match her with Cloud, the obvious choice, or Reno, because he's hot (even when he falls on Rude). Then you got the Vincent/Tifa too, and Sephi/Tifa. It must be Rude's personality. Too quiet for someone as cool as Tifa.

Anyway, as your fic... I enjoyed it, but Rude's behaviour was way too OOC. Actually, there's no way to verify if Rude's indeed afraid of social contact, but it doesn't seem like he'd be like that, y'know... Points for the pairing, though. Very daring.

That story was pretty good. The grammer was spot on, which is always a plus, but Rude was really OC! He was like a emotional rollercoaster of a man with absolutely no life whatsoever!

But hey! Who am I to say what Rude's personality is like? I guess you're depiction of Rude is just as good as any other, since Rude's personality was never really defined in the game or movie.

An interesting look into Rudes profile to say the least. I can see how you could come to characterize him like that.

Its a good plot, certainly one thats been done a couple times, but a good spin on it. Nice job, I hope your other stories are as good.
