Very nice. The final episode of Season 3 reignited my interest in possibilities of a Sylar/Heidi relationship, and your fic captured the inner turmoil that Sylar might face in such a situation.

Call me a little sick, but I've always been a fan of the whole Sylar/Heidi idea. The last few episodes of volume 4 reminded me of that fact and I just had to go back and revisit the stories that had been written for Five Years Gone. I loved this one a lot.

Wow, Heidi, I never really thought of her with... well, anyone actually. LoL She's just so much of a background character... I love your idea here, I hope you'll write more.

Wow, that was beautifully done! It makes sense that Sylar would have had at least some interaction with Heidi while he was impersonating Nathan, and this was a very intriguing and plausible look at how that might have unfolded. The bittersweet ending in particular was perfect. Great job!

That is creative! Heidi's an underused character.

this is actually very sweet. Shows a different face of Sylar that people don't really see and you pull it off without making him seem out of character.
Just one question: how much did Heidi know? Did she guess that he was a different person pretending to be Nathan or did she think that Nathan had somehow change mentally?
It would be interesting to see her point of view.
