abuseGroovy chapter!

Roald...karate instructor to the children of Leslie's friends? Neat!

Romance between Mr. Nordemann and Anna-Laura? Excellent!

A chance, however slim, to find Robia? Yahoo!

TWINS?!? Omigosh, omigolly gosh!

Anna-Laura staying around longer? Cool!

The eventual arrival of Mateo and Anna-Kristina's adoptee? Long overdue!

Christian goes back to the past?!? OMG! I CAN'T WAIT!

Neat stuff all along! Full power to the next chapter!

abuseTwins? I don't believe it-what a wonderful revelation!

But Gregory's past-so very sad-and it explains a lot!

But finally-Mr. Roarke got through to Roald-that is a very
hopeful sign that things may go better for Anna Laura.

Thanks for the bittersweet moment at the end-that both
Christian and Leslie have some comfort from Mr. Roarke.

A very thoughtful and thoughtprovoking story-thanks for
another winner! I look forward to Christian's "Visit"!

abuseThis IS fantastic news, and on more than one front! Twins will make it easier to eventually turn things over to a new generation when Roarke finally retires. And this will mean twice the kids to spoil for Leslie and Christian, as the twins get older as well.

abuseOUCH! It sounds like Anna-Laura stepped into a major mess when she started asking Gregory about his holiday plans. Hopefully, the two of them can get things worked out, and have an enjoyable evening.

abuseWell, it seems that Roarke has found a way to get Prince Roald involved in something that might just give him some happiness, and a way to put one of his talents to good use! Perhaps the family IS starting to turn the corner and find some happiness!

abuseOkay-you had tears in my eyes over that exchange! I
love how Mr. Roarke was able to get through to Roald, and
Anna-Laura's facing down Gregory enough to break through
his chinks...wow.

The humor of Christian and Leslie agreeing to baby-sit
Lisi...that was hysterical to picture-as well as the
hot come-on of Christian..wo!

Thanks for the updates-I can hardly wait to see what
happens next! LOL!

abuseFascinating chapter. Yah! Leslie and Christian will take care of the baby! They are right, it is very good practice for Leslie. Hmm, I guess she never took care of the infants in Teppo's family...they must not have trusted her, and probably his mom poisoned the others against her as far as babies go. Her sisters were too close to her in age, so when they were infants, she was just a toddler. And none of her friends have ever asked her to babysit...well, I imagine they all first asked the Ichino quads, then when they weren't available anymore, they asked the oldest of their kids.

Hm, Gregory has good standards. But I feel this poor guy has had a hard life, emotionally...probably lost his family when he was young and had to work like the devil to make ends meet and then got rich on his own. And he didn't know what to do with his life, so he wound up with a taste of minimalism and a fat bank account. Anna-Laura might be just what he needs...

Can't wait to read the next chapter! Then I can see what Gregory's true reasons are...

abuseCool...there's hope for Roald yet! LOL

Actually, getting together with his friend from the shipbuilding family and creating and organization to help disadvantaged children sounds excellent. The entire family would be very supportive, once they got over the surprise, of course. Maybe they could even take kids sailing down the line, once they've got their project up and running.

Nifty how Roarke was able to calm and redirect Roald; I'm sure the walking helped a bit as well. It did help his mom, as well as Christian and Leslie. I was really worried about him, but it looks like he's got a heart of gold after all, like most of the family.

Great line from Jeremy: "What in heck does it really mean to be a prince, anyway, if all you can do is spend money and party hearty?" I got a very hearty laugh out of it. Roald might think the islanders are self-righteous...but he has more than a touch of it himself. Takes one to know one, after all.

Great chapter!

abuseVery nice chapter. Anna-Laura is beginning to heal; this visit is obviously going to be very therapeutic for her. It's also going to be good for Christian and Anna-Kristina to have her and Lisi close at home.

I don't know about Roald, however. I hope the visit is helpful for him. I bet you'll focus a bit on him in the next chapter, since you seem to be bouncing back and forth between the two. I've liked Roald since he was first introduced, so good luck working with him...

Hm...Anna-Laura's first friend? Neat. Even if they don't make a love connection (although I admit I would be the first in line to congratulate them...and Gregory is probably able to spend at least part of the year in Lilla Jordso [smile])

ch 4,
abuseI think the trip to Fantasy Island was just the break that Princess Anna-Laura needed. With all that has been going on, she and her daughter need a break. And Roarke was right: Sometimes, you have to take care of yourself! And I think dinner with Mr. Gregory Nordeman is just what the Doctor ordered!

abuseThis is such a wonderful change of pace...we get to know
Anna-Laura a little, not just as Christian's older sister-
but as one who did do her best with first him, then her
children. I love how Mr. Roarke helped her address her
grief and the need to take care of herself. Now she's
met someone to talk to...here's hoping she gets a little
happiness! Now if only someone would dish a reality
check to that selfish Roald! Very believable characters-
thanks! Now what happens?:)
