do you know that you gave me nightmares with your `in the open` fic?! you´re just too good as a writer to leave one hanging like this...the suspense is killing!! i mean, your last update on said fic was in january, and i still know the end: mac thinking about giving an own press-conferece...which i personly think would be too drastic. how about an interview with that reporter he knows ( the one who wrote tessas obituary)? that way he could tell the truth AND stay hidden - from mad scientists, paranoid lets-kill-him-before-we´re-all-busted watchers and angry immies as well.
*sigh* i really hope that you´ll update soon, although it will give some sleepless nights and heartburn once more..

I almost missed seeing this story. I think it would've been better to make it a chapter/interlude of its companion story. I liked seeing Joe's thoughts on the events. I always am curious to see what every character's pov is, but most stories stick to only one. Nicely done.
