It's not a story, but it tells of all the things that are going on while the first quartet was being written.

I love Raoul! I love the, they were mean after all, not just men bit knights. T1hey were strong, they were tough, and they certainly didn't sit around talking about... feelings. HAHA! I love it! It reminded me of a fic I'd read where Georgwe and Jon had a fight and when they made up they 'man-hugged' it was funny! Good work.

hmm a chapter giving Alan of Trebond the elder some depth. I still don't like him but you have made him more human and given him a good reaction to his wifes death and a solid reason to his subsequent unfeeling coldness towards the twins.

That was such a sad chapter i nearly cried.

Aww; Raoul is so sweet and i have always thought of them as having a kind of brother sister relationship, far less complicated than her other relationships with men.

Can it get even better? I always thought your writing was fabulous, but I think its gotten even better. This chapter flowed in such a sophisticated manner. The last two lines would have to take the prize.

I never imagined Thayet's POV, simply because I never really clicked an understanding for her character in the books. Alanna, Jon, George, maybe even Raoul or Gary, I can easily go into their minds and write something - but Thayet's past and how she came to be seem so lacking in information. But This slant you've put on her past as a young child is truly a great character piece. I love your rhetoric! Although, do answer a question for me, did Thayet's parents actually want that alliance with Tortall hence marriage with Jon (because I probably don't remember if that was ever mentioned in LR and consequent books), or it was your own thing?
