Honestly, I think this is very realistic. I am a total Nobuo/Hachi fangirl, but at the same time, I can completely see Shin harboring some feelings that he never shows. This is very beautifully done. I love it.

I feel like sometimes, you write Shin as if he's a girl, not a boy (just the way his voice comes across), but seeing as most of the writers/readers for the Nana fanfiction are probably female, I suppose that won't be too much of a problem.

I like how you go around the realization rather than stating it directly, though.

I need happy NANA stories to get over Ren so i'm reading every pairing that i thought would be kind of cute..

It's a cute little story :) this pairing is cute. I actually belived that it was meant to be Shin/Hachi in the end due to Hachi's comments about him being a cute boy and Shin's comments about missing her. Well, the Takumi-bastard got her instead :P Yuck.

Anyway, write some more with the pairing will ya? There are far too little Shin/Hachi on

i must say, this is some of your best work.

i've always pondered what the [ hachi x shin ] pairing would be like, and you just illustrated it. although it is light on the romance, i think it's absolutely amazing how you described it. it's descriptive, honest, and it has shin all over it. although you didn't quite grasp his character exactly, i think that you've got the gist of it.

you should write more NANA fiction.

I'm happy to know I wasn't the only one who thought they would make a cute pairing because of that episode! I love them as mother and son, but I also love them as lovers. They're my two favorite characters in Nana. I hope you write more like this. What a great oneshot.

I think it was totally wise for you to have Shin insert that 'mother' part, as it kept him in character, and all.
