I wanna see what happens! This is what should have happened in the movie! I'm a sucker and still ticked at how it had ended but the final scene had had a major impact and was the major and only real reason it was a smashing hit. They need to remake it and Make Alice and Uncas live. Keep writing, I will be looking out for updates. I need inspiration. Write more fics of this couple as well. We need more of them out there.

Why doesn't anyone on this site ever update their LOTM stories?! Especially you! I'm craving some Uncas/Alice romance right about now, and your story is definately fulfilling it! The gradual relationship between the two is portrayed beautifully, and isn't too fast, like some others have been. AND it's not unrealistic or too sappy... it's perfect. Grammar, characterization, everything is perfect. I also want to add that I love the first chapter alternate ending where Alice attempts to save Uncas...when I watch the movie, I always think 'do something!'...and she just watches in shock. I know that's how the director intended it and blah blah blah but man oh man you capture how I wish the movie was amazingly! Okay, this is a super long review so I'll cut it short now.
