Your portrayal of Hitsugaya was so accurate its almost creepy.

"It would be her first birthday without Gin. It would be her only birthday without Gin."

I loved that line, it really summed up everything for me. And the summary was gold, it really drew me in and made me want to read the story(surprising in a good way for however short the summary was). I'm surprised you don't have more reviews, you certainly deserve them.

That was a very sweet little insight. The conversation between Matsumoto and Hitsugaya was very fitting and very well done. I can see this happening in an actual episode; in fact, I think it would help to redeem this otherwise lacking, little filler arc if it really was added in.

But since it won't be, I'll just have to imagine it was, ne?
