A belated thank you for this wonderful story. Moving on to the "Briar patch" now.

Wow, this is a fabulous story. Your plot and characters were well-developed, and I was riveted to the screen. Good job!

Amazing excellent work.
Everything was in luscious, fantastic detail.
A brilliant story that had me reading almost continuous from chapter to chapter.

Oh, I liked this chapter very much. I'm glad you brought up "Sim". I'm really impressed for how well you have handled the subject, very intense, but without going too far.

It's interesting how you write Archer, he still seems a little wary of Vulcans.

As always, a pleasure to review you :)

The paragraph that describes all Trip's losses during the mind meld is brilliant. It's beautifully written and very direct at the same time. I have to confess I've felt touched.

I liked the part between Soval and Trip because I think it reflects how much Soval has changed since "grumpy Soval" times.

Torok calling Soval impulsive is priceless!

I'm glad Trip seems to find somebody who can help him in a therapeutic level.

Trip vs Soval: the Revenge. Another cliffhanger, this isn't fair! :b

And nononono, Trip can't leave Starfleet. That's a wrong decision, like combining yellow with fuchsia.

By the way, I love the "T'Pol who cried wolf" metaphor. It serves her right. But I hope she can prove him her feelings otherwise.

Uh-oh, I have a bad feeling about it. Tsk,Tsk, Trip, lying in front of your father-in-law... Or the closest thing to that.

I'm looking forward to know more about Vulcans' problems with the Romulans. it seems very interesting. And I'm hoping to see the interaction between Archer and those not so very nice Vulcans captains.

You used a line for Doctor Lucas ("I think he feels that by staying, he's doing penance") that fits T'Pol. If living is suffering, T'Pol lives a lot. The call to Trip parents is proof of that: she doesn't need to do that, because Trip and she aren't together, but she does it because it's the noble thing to do and because it can cause her terrible pain. ("Anguish with bearnese sauce" seems her specialty.)

Anyway, Suzanne has a small role but I like her already. I hope nothing bad happens with her. I don't agree with them that the only targets of Terra Prime are Trip and T'Pol; these kind of organizations usually hit the weakest people and they have a real obsession with the ones who they think have betray them.

And Trip wants the bond severed :( Poor Trip. Poor T'Pol. I'm so sad for them... Maybe Soval will come and save the day :)

Ah! You can't do this to me! It's late, I have to go to bed! I'm not even coherent at this point of the night. Bad people is threatening Trip and T'Pol! They're mean, they're reminding them that their relationship is broken. They're worse than the paparazzi!

Hoshi's point of view is great and I sympathize with her struggle. I'm glad Travis will be seeing Gannet soon (although I'm a Hoshi/Travis shipper. Almost.)

OH.MY.GOD.

You're evil, that scene between Trip and T'Pol was... ah! So frustrating! Now Trip is even more suspicious! I hope you're happy, now I'll HAVE TO keep on reading :)

For God's shake, let Trip talk! Sorry, I have to make the joke. Well, let's see what happens in the next chapter.

I love the last line. And I adore Phlox :) I think you've done a very good job showing not just his caring side, but his professional side too. When it cames to medicine and patiences, Phlox can be very bossy and cautious. And, just because I like Hoshi and Phlox, I think the scene between the two of them is very cute.

Other thing I find interesting is Phlox's point of view about the couple, it's alway very enlightening to know the character from others' perspective. But I think Phlox was perfectly aware of what would happen with the neuro-pressure when he asked it from T'Pol. I don't know why, but when I think in "The Xindi" I can't help thinking in "Much ado about nothing" too :)

Great chapter! Love the drama, love the tension, love the angst... I specially like that it's Trip who saves the day. And T'Pol's illusion. It was just an illusion because Trip was delusional or it has something to do with the bond? It intrigues me. If it's related to the bond, T'Pol should appear naked, that would have been more effective :) Jokes aside, I'm anxious to know what happens next.

I have mixed feelings about this chapter, specially about Archer. On the one hand, I like how empathic and nice he is with Trip, but on the other hand, I think he's a real big mouth. I mean, he could shut up about neuro-pressure and his love being spoken for. Geez... He is so dense sometimes.

Anyway, good chapter, very nice and, above all, sweet.

Uh-oh. T'Pol's words look like her will, like the famous "last words". Trip is going to get hurt, doesn't he? And I'm with T'Pol, by the way, why does every discussion end in a fight? (I don't say it as a critic. It's just what I wondered watching the show :))

Anyway, great chapter, full of angst (but not overdone) and feeling. The part where T'Pol talks with Archer has touched me, because I really think T'Pol needed to see Trip's situation (because I see her a little in denial) and the necessity of that trip... trek... Why does anything look pun intended?

And know I understand why did you mean by Trip noticing Archer getting out from T'Pol's cabin...
