Hello Hadrien, i just finished reading all you have on Sunspots.

And i read why you have Hiatus'd this story. I hope the past 8 months have been good to the other story you are writing.

Do not quit on Sunspots, because i say this with total honesty.

This is the best post-SR story. I have. EVER READ.

Out of boredom, ive been reading through Smallville and Superman fanfiction.

And most of it SUCKS!

After reading this though, my faith in decent writers on this big website has been restored. I kid you not. I had given up on finding a story on ANY category of this site that was intellegent, compelling, PROPERLY PUNCTUATED AND SPELLED, humorous, romantic, dramatic, angsty, IN CHARACTER, phillisophical, educational, IN LINE WITH CANON, yet with enough ORIGINALITY for the writing to be called a true FAN. FICTION.

Turns out I was wrong. There WAS at least one left.

YOURS.

Now, many people have been able to pull off the persona of Clark Kent/Superman. Its not really that hard to do, hes a pretty straightforward character, even when hes having complicated emotions or circumstances.

But. I have never. NEVER. Been satisfied with people's renditions of Lois Lane. Either she's whiny, or jerky, or crybaby, or helpless, or stupid, or SOMETHING that is simply NOT TRUE to character.

But YOU have not only pulled off a very decent Clark Kent. NOT ONLY have you characterized Jimmy and Perry and Richard to near perfection. But you have also captured the true personality of Lois Lane. I had been so...unsettled by SR's version of her. she didnt seem like herself in the way the old ones with Christopher Reeve had her. The dynamic of Lois nd Clark has never been truly explored or venered by ANYONE. Movies, comics, and TV shows included.You gave explanation for Lois' out of characterness and then reminded us of the untold "glory days" of Lois and Clark. Then you resurerected it. From RICHARD'S point of view.

Oh, and that reminds me. making Richad a sorta jelalous jerk is aloteasier to stomach that the typical gacious guy who happily stays out of the way, is reassigned to another country, or is killed off.

Although it wouldnt be THAT bad if that sort of thing happens everntually. hee hee.

anyway, i will step down from the soap box now and leave you be.

just please dont give up on this story. i wont, and im sure alot of other people wont. (adds story to Alerts and Favorites)

PS: The photograph thing with Jimmy is pure GENRIUS, not to mention Clar's idea of FINALLY donning Casual clothes. At LEAST stick it out until we see the entrance of "Kal".I wonder what clothes those ladies dressed him up in anyway.

I love this story. You give all of you characters so much depth, and you put a lot of introspection into this. I like how you characterize Lois's relationships with Clark and Superman, and how much of a "club" you have made the reporters into. I sincerely hope you're going to finish this story... it makes me smile a lot and stay up late.

I know it has been a while- this is a good story. I hope you find the time to finish it. A nice long finsh...you have a good sense of time and it moves at a realistic pace.

aww man! I totally forgot about this story! Hopefully the writers block is over and you can update soon. Looks like there's only...gosh..okay, a few more chapters to go... But up till now it's been fantastic! So anything else just to wrap it up and not just sit unfinished in cyberspace annoying anyone that stumbles across it's unfinishedness...
Seriously, Clark should tell her. Richard should find out Jason is Clark's and the world goes on happily ever after. Or you can just scrap that and do whatever.
P.S. I LOVE the parts where Clark is drunk. Hilarious!

I really like it. Its really enjoyable and distinct, something fresh from all the other stories out there. Great job and hopefully you keep your promise on this story because i would like to see it finished. Good luck on everything else you have going on and thanks for entertaining us readers.

I love rereading this chapter - it really sucks me in and gives Superman a tangible reality, a solid foundation. I think it's due to the incredible details in the crisis scene, but it's also the characters and their reactions to things. Seeing it through Richard's eyes was a brilliant move. It gives us more information about Richard, but at the same time allows the reader to see Superman, Lois, and Jimmy in a fresh perspective.

Honestly, this is one of the best Superman stories I've read. I was so engrossed that I practically inhaled it. I love the Lois/Clark dynamic and the fact that your Clark has emotions, real emotions that people feel every day. Your witty quips and poignant one-liners are memorable.

As you said in one of your author's notes, it is worth waiting for. Please don't forget about this story in the jumble of your life (and if it's anything like mine, that's very possible). You have readers that are waiting for a conclusion.

ahh! i just found this story and i really like it, so just wanted to offer some positive encouragement to keep it going.

Very good story, I like how you took the concept of the superman universe and fleshed out the characters really well... sometimes having to rewrite events but done exceptionally well so no problem there. It took me a couple of says to catch up to what you have and am looking forward to more chapters...
