At first, the accents mad me go, "Wha?!" but I forced myself to keep reading and eventually the accents disappeared. xD

but, dude. okay. at this line: “Perfe’t fer the firecrackers.” I realized you were giving them some accent but I didn't know what. Maybe medieval-ish... that first came to mind. the "Aye" made me think medieval more. But then you got to "T'ain't that much of a trek" and I realized it was a southern accent. But I didn't know why you gave it to them--it just amused me until I got to “Them kids they jus gonna stare at you’n me and laugh.” Then my heart cracked, because I realized they were somewhere rural and rural places are notorious for that kind of bigotry. ; ;

It's quietly sad. Axel seems so jaded and Riku's just trying.
