i was trying to figure the changes that would have been made to the world since the past was changed.

enishi would have no reason for his jinchuu and his sister would most likely not tolerate his becoming a chinese mob boss or arms dealer.

kenshin's philosophy is somewhat changed, will he still kill? in his continuing missions for the government he would surely have had dealings with saitou and so there would be a change in that relationship (would kenshin's philosophy be more similar to saitou's aku-soku-zan?)

with his lesser guilt kenshin would less likely allow himself to be injured and would have applied more of the kamiya kasshin ryu's defensive moves therefore insuring his greater chance at remaining unscathed. (affecting fights with kurogasa and the oniwaban/takeda kanryu battles (maybe even saving aoshi's men)

the fact that kaoru's training in hiten mitsurugi will make her a greater asset and maybe sano won't be telling her to get the baths ready for when they get back from retrieving megumi- she would likely have accompanied them (same with retrieving yahiko from the yakusa in manga)

Oh my goodness, imagine my shock when I saw this fic on the top of the updated list! This isn't my oldest account, but I started reading this fic since at LEAST 2002, it's amazing how fast time flies. Delighted to see you working on this again!

This is a great story with a bit of everything but without all the angst that usually there is in this kind of stories about bakumatsu (first part). I hope you continue writing it! Great work!

I have been reading this story almost from the beginning and am delighted that you are working on it again. I know that you have mentioned several times that they are technically already married, but it wasn't this younger Kaoru that went thru the ceremony. Hopefully she won't miss out to that.

I too have a story that I started writing long ago and have yet to complete. anyway, woo hoo, I'm psyched that you updated, this has inspired me to possibly write a new chapter to one of my stories as well :) Looking forward to another chapter :)
