I really, really enjoy this story. The dialogue for the characters sounds authentic, and I really love Kim & Ron's little romantic sparring match at the end of the chapter. It sounds like something they would totally do. I don't know why you never wrote any other KP stories, because you're quite good at it.

Been seeing your name on my reviews page for "The Girl In The Box". As is my custom, thought I'd scope out the fellow tradesman. Downloaded the entire story. Halfway through it. Lots of chars in the 1st chpt. (My exposure to "Rugrats" has been limited to the feature-length movies.) It's like the movie one has to see twice in order to pick up on what one missed the 1st time. Enjoyed it for 2 reasons.

1st. It was a chance to watch someone exercise their creativity & write the backstory for the Go siblings. Man fan-authors (incl. me) have taken the path of least resistance & named them after what was already extant in the fan-literature. I can't begin to count the number of fan-stories that have named Shego "Sheila". & you endowed them with the character traits that we would see on the K.P. show when they reached adulthood.

2nd. Not a hint of our Middleton heroes in the story--yet. Not that I find the exclusion of Kim and Ron desirable. It's just that you are using other chars to carry the story. & I think you did yourself creditable.

The 1st chpt. was a slow start--not that that's a bad thing. Many good books start slow. It forces the reader to be patient & go through necessary foundation so he can enjoy the good stuff when he gets to it.

out of curiosity, I searched for any other K.P. / Rugrat xovers. Looks like you're the only one so far
