You kept it real, for lack of better words, in all the little details (for example, Nick having to use vacation days instead of magically getting time off). The love story unfurled naturally and the angst wasn't forced. Even the villains and plot were clever. Kudos!
freeflow 2008-03-25 ch 8,	abuseThis story was quite obviously a product of both determination and stubborness for you; swinging between love and hate. But I can't understand how you would find any of these chapters deficient in any way! From the start, the emotions and characterisations were clearly recognisable in both Nick and Greg, and your skills with dialogue are what truly brings your story to life. Even juggling numerous OCs and diverse plot and timelines, the reader never feels lost or confused. Each OC has their own identity and purpose, adding to the overall fic - which is exactly what CSI the series excels at. You emulate the sense of the show wonderfully well. It is such a surprise to find a well written and crafted Nick/Greg fic which actually has a coherent plot - it may be because I haven't read too many CSI fics, but this certainly stands out in my mind as pre-eminent in this fandom. And so what if the ending is sugary? After all the angst and pain, it is great to see the boys getting back on track again. Cliches are as such for a reason, and this is a classic ending which makes me want to read more of your beautiful writing. I know you have requested feedback for this story in some of the chapters, but I have only just discovered it via your Hardy Boys fics. Forgive me for only submitting one review, but once I'd started reading, I didn't really want to stop! Great work, and for a fic you say caused so much trouble, I am thrilled that you persevered. I look forward to many more!

Dark Angel Kira 2008-02-24 ch 8,	abuseThis was exteremly hard to read with my insane life. Don't get me wrong, I loved it, but it was so long (and I sound like I'm complaining... haha.) It was really good, and I was so ready for someone to come in at the end and hurt Greg again, getting the cycle going again, but thankfully, one writer out there felt sorry for him and let him be. Also, the ending was really open ended, are you going to make a sequal? (probably not, right?) Oh well, I still loved it. Awesome job! -Kira-

I was a little apprehensive about reading it because it was a slash fic and I don't particularly like them, but I had enjoyed your other fic Into Thin Air so very much that I gave it a chance. I'm glad I did, it was very well written and quite sad, and really more of a pre slash than anything else so it wasn't graphic and I was able to enjoy it. Well done. Very nice job. Hope to see more from you in the future.

I really enjoyed how the story unravelled, and I did not see it coming that Agent Dobkins would be involved; nicely plotted. Congrats on completing a great fic.
broadwaybaby529 2008-02-22 ch 8,	abuseWow. That's all I can say. I waited to read the whole story to review because I wanted to see how it would end. Normally I'm not one for hostage stories but this was really really well done. You put the characters into the positions that they would resume had it been real life. They acted realistically and true to their character on the show. It's really well written, and though the story was kind of intense and hard to read because of how realistic it was it was a very good plot. You fleshed out a good idea and did an amazing job at it. Even if you don't like the story you should be proud of it. ~Ruby~
