I really enjoyed this story!
I dislike Denethor a whole lot, and respect Thorongil (Aragorn) very much, hehe, Im glad I was not in the room at the time, else I wouldve given Denethor a punch to his face, or preferably, where his coins were. HES EVIL AND MEAN! He doesnt deserve Finduilas, he is right about that. I like how you portrayed the characters though, and the time setting, and how noble Thorongil is, and I loved the dialogue. Very interesting and unique ;)

I've read several versions of the 'Thorongil and Denethor hate each other' theme. This one might be the best. It had ... subtlety. Something most fics around here lack. I enjoyed it very much.

ooh...I like it. It's a look at Denethor's past, and other personality. A show that he was not always as bad as he was in "The Two Towers," or in "The Return Of The King"

Hahahahahaha! I read this some time ago, but as I read it again now, I liked it even better! Definitely well-written and the tension between Denethor and Thorongil is palpable! Loved your Denethor and his wordplays! :) And I have to admit some lines (and their allusions) made me grin widely!

Very good story. You did an excellent job of writing "Thorogil" and Denethor.

What a great story. I kept chuckling as i imagined Thorongil as the deliverer of the Viagra. But seriously, I enjoyed this treatment of the relationship between two of my favorite Tolkien characters. Spar with words though they do, Thorongil and Denethor actually bless each other's love life and future dynasties. Thorongil's aphrodisiac (did it really originate with Echthelion?) charm ensures Denethor's line. And thank you, Raksha, for having Denethor also give Thorongil his blessing for future happiness. I like your portrayal of Denethor, a tough, prickly guy, but not a bad guy.

Jokes aside, I think this is a really well-written and enjoyable story. Denethor's wry humor and all his "Eagle" jokes are just priceless, and I can just see him acting that benevolent with someone deprived of the pleasure that awaits him. Thanks for a great read!

You capture the tension between the two men and their uneasy relationship brilliantly here, I can imagine this is just how Tolkien intended the two to be.A very well written story.
