Wow, what a fantastic story! I was so sad when I read the chapter where Sam died, but everything played out so well with the time travel and paradoxes and whatnot. I was a little confused at first when they talked about the blue slime (weren't they talking about pink?) but then I realized this was just a minor change in the timeline. Very cool story, very cool idea, and all in all very well executed. Great job!

Though it just occurred to me, if they had space on the camcorder to keep Daniel's images from ancient Egypt... what a boon to future historians when the Stargate is revealed to the public! *happy sigh*
What? I'm descended from Sam and Daniel in the alternate timeline! After all, if there can be fish in Jack's pond... *grins*

Aww! Sam and Daniel KNOW how to be there for each other! Opposites may attract, but similarities endure.
I like that Jack asked the objectivity question. It was very realistic and in-character.

Though I think Jack would ALSO warn Sam against breaking DANIEL'S heart! Hey, they're both his "kids". And he loves ALL his kids a lot more than he should!

Well, of course Teal'c's misunderstandings are intentional! And of course Jack knows it! He only PLAYS stupid, remember. *grins*
Though I would think it would take deliberate effort for Sam and Daniel to get used to PDAs in front of Jack and Teal'c. They've been repressing their feelings for each other for a long time!
Still, a vacation is a great time and place to do that! :-)
