This really portrays Mercedes in a way that I like. She was probably the character that grew up the most in the game. Her relationship with Ingway is...well, tragic, I suppose. Too bad we didn't see more of it in the game...

Excellent! Introspective pieces always get me, and I'm a big Mercades fan, so this is right up my alley. Besides that, Ingway x Mercades is such a deliciously tragic pairing.

As far as the writing itself goes, I thought you captured what was likely Mercades' progressive mindset throughout the adventure quite well. How she changed, and how she knew that much of it was thanks to Ingway's helping hand.

Wow this is a good fic, it literally broke my heart. Mercedes and Ingway relationship is indeed a sad one--also I wold like to point out that this story also proves to be quite perceptive when it comes to Mercedes's personality and feelings. So good work, hope to see some more from you soon.
