This is really the most fantastic story. I really like the relationship you are building up between Mark and Hellboy-they are both so tough most of the time and yet so gentle at the most surprising times. Of course, you are correct that Hellboy, in his youth, had a good role model in Trevor Bruttenholm.

I can't wait to see where you are taking this.

YOu really know how to get me into a story that is differnt from the rest.

This chapter was truely great.

I will have to admit there were a few points in it where I was a bit confused about what was going down, but got past that in the end. I do have a question, at the end of the story, is Mark still in snake form?

I am really glade to here there is more to go in this story. Honestly I would realy hate for this to be a short story, I can see tons of story archs and the line coming from the framework you have here. I really hope you decided to continue with sequals after this story is done.

By the way, I like the way you are handling the relationship between Mark and Glen, it a nice twist on the normal love/hate thing normally presented.

Excellent chapter. I really like Mark as a character. Exactly what fandom does he come out of? I'm sorry I missed this when you first submitted it, but I've had a busy summer-mainly singing at the Berkshire Choral Festival. Between learning my music and writing my own fanfics I must has missed this chapter when it first came out. You write really well and I'm looking forward to reading the next chapter.

What I like the best is that you formulate you story in such a organized way that I seldom have to read earlier chapters to remind me of the story.
