An interesting story. The first time I read it, I thought that either the child's murder was faked or it did happen and Garibaldi was just taking advantage of it. After reading it a couple more, I'm not so sure Garibaldi didn't kill the girl. That bit about 'clinically insane' and 'too good of an Asminov' makes me wonder if Garibaldi really might have 'short-circuited' and maybe he really did do it. Which is very scary.
