Ignore the folks who critize that this is too short to be a story, that it needs to be longer, etc., etc. Sometimes a few choice words are all that need to be written to invoke such vivid images in a reader. | ellina HOPE 2007-07-07 ch 1, | abuseI have this theory about the action/disaster movie couples. They almost always meet/fall in "love"/kiss/make out under very extreme circumstances. The only time they have together, usually, is a brief few seconds between running for their lives and blowing shit up. So, they don't have a lot of chances to get to know each other and really test out their compatibility. I like that your story addressed that. Sam seemed way too inexperienced to handle a girl like Mikaela - at least as a girlfriend. They've been through too much together to not stay friends, but romantically... I don't think they would've worked out too well. That stumbling over "bee" was a nice touch - I can't really describe why but it really struck me as in character. It could be because Shia always appears a little awkward in all of his roles... I'm not sure. Your characterization of Bumblebee was very endearing. It makes me wanna give him a hug. (Just a small pick - it's Camaro, not Camero. That was the only typo I could find so good job. :D) love:e. |
