Beautiful in its simplicity. The game never goes into detail as to what exactly happened to the Espers, and you have given them a sort of life that they are sorely lacking.

I really enjoyed this story; it's so rare to find good stories with the Espers playing major roles. I found your style to be very well-done and lyrical, and I loved the ways you incorporated the journal entries about each of the espers. I particularly loved your bits about Shemhazai and Zodiark.

This isn't the first time I've read this - nor the second, third or fourth, all of those times being on LJ as the user oftxthevoidsea - but it still blows me away. I just can't believe how much I love your writing; by the way, considering you may not remember, when I commented the LJ entry I told you I was writing a fic called The Flesh of Swine. I already put it up on my LJ, but it's also on this penname of mine, not to mention it's also long overdue. D: I hope it's a worthy add to meager collection of esper-fic.
